(void) is a roleplaying function in ATF that nullifies the previous roleplay actions done by the player. It is used in the OOC format, with parentheses. It is commonly used to nullify actions that are simply considered illogical for whatever reason, but it can also have other purposes. It basically ruins all roleplays because people are babies, ERPers like Filthy_Moose, and Failed/Fear RPers who don’t understand physics or impossible things humans can’t or can accomplish.

(Rely on the ATF flashstorm discord.)

i.e:

Player 1: I tackle you

Player 2: (wth you're already KO'ed you idiot)

Player 1: (VOID

Void Jokes

A void joke is when a player does irrational yet funny roleplay actions, shortly voiding the entire thing afterwards. They are very, very common in the ATF community and are perfect examples of abuse of the (void) function. They can be the bane of any organized RP, as it just wastes time and distracts people. It is often shunned, yet still retains its popularity due to its easiness to use. Commonly associated with OOC-festing.

i.e:

Player 1: I fall and break my neck, instantly dying

Player 2: (wth that's not even funny void it now or kebab

Player 1: (void)

Voided Events

Voided events are roleplaying events which are voided shortly after they take place. These differ from void jokes, as the events are usually consist of serious roleplaying. In Official Events like USCPF, CDF, and other factions, it can be rarely or uncommonly voided part or whole of it due to lore and previous hosted events.

i.e:

Player 1: (hey uscpf dumbass we're raiding the DMZ)

Player 2: (ok only if you hecks void the whole thing afterwards)

another i.e:

Official USCPF Soldier: I found the map of pre-war mine shaft.

Later in USCPF discord: It was voided due to the cave mine shafts were created by earthquakes.

Trivia
